Under the direction of the Nurse Manager of Staffing Resources, Is supervised by the Nurse Manager and charge nurse of the unit assigned. Works under the direct supervision of the RN taking care of the assigned patient. The job duties include providing safety of this patient at all times and providing activities of daily living such as hygiene ,comfort, and nutritional needs.What you will do
- Sits in the assigned patient's room, to observe the patient to ensure the patient causes no harm to themselves, or others. Specifically ensures the patient does not attempt suicide, fall, injure self, remove IVs, dressing, etc. or leaves the hospital against medical advice.
- Nurse Aide (Preferred)
- less than 1 year Experience with patients in acute care or nursing home (Preferred)
- CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) (Required)
